International Super Star Sean Kingston Hails Rising Star Lord Morgan



The year 2020 has almost nullified productivity in different sectors across the world due to the novel COVID-19 pandemic, and in the entertainment circles, it has charred plans of an European tour of versatile Ghanaian artiste Lord Morgan in his efforts to promote his Ep ''JOURNEY FROM AFIENYA".

But while passing his time agreeably at home to observe the COVID-19 protocols, he invested his time into another hit making package dubbed ''GOLD EP''.

His persistence and the wit he poured onto the project has caught the attention of international singer Sean Kingston who has showered praises on him and also urged Ghanaians to watch out for Lord Morgan. The beautiful girls hit maker praised the self acclaimed "KING OF DAMGBE" in a video and also solicited for support for the artiste.

SUZZ BLAQQ To Appear on Fameye's Live Concert


Suzz Blaqq is a burning incense in the Ghana Music Industry, and she's preparing the space to appear on Fameye's Live concert scheduled for the 26th of September. She wants the energy to be pure; after all its been a long while since she made appearance on any event. 

The Accra based singer, Suzz Blaqq first gained mainstream attention with her 2019 feature with Afrobeat genius Kelvyn Boy. The song was tiled 'Nana Ama'. The song gained mainstream appearance and topped the charts for months. She's made several appearances on different Live Band Events. Just like her role model Lauryn Hill, Blaqq sings from the soul. 

Blaqq is not your ordinary Ghanaian artiste. She sees music as her Life and must give all her soul and attention to her songs. She released her first EP 28th 28th last year to the surprise of many industry players. She was praised for her beautiful vocals and for her maturity in composing music. The album had great features from D Black, Mawuli Younggod and Afrobeats genius and badman Kelvyn Boy.

Apart from her music prowess, Blaqq is a creative director who has assisted in directing more music videos and styling of artiste in Ghana.

It's not surprising that Fameye will put her on his Live Band Concert. Blaqq is a live band performer, a great songwriter and a soulful singer.

Worlasi, Wendy Shay Set To Drop New Singles This Friday 4th September

Two of Ghana's great talents Worlasi and the self acclaimed Queen Of Ghana Music Wendy Shay are set to release their new singles on Friday, September 4th respectively. Worlasi who resides from Agbezormi in the Volta Region of Ghana is one of the finest voices to ever come from the soil. His abilities goes beyond music and figure painting. His music spreads across all over Africa and he's shared stage with great acts like FOKN Boys, Wiyaala, Efya, Cina Soul, King Ayisoba and many more. Worlasi is set to drop another soulful music this friday, the 4th of September. Fans of Worlasi all over the world can't wait for his new single.

Self acclaimed Queen of Ghana Music Wendy Shay is also set to release her next single on Friday, the 4th of September. Wendy Shay over the past two years has released countless of hit songs ever since she appeared on the music scene. With the help of his manager and song writer Bullet they have both dominated the Ghanaian music scene with hit songs and performances. This year Wendy Shay has released beautiful bangers with the likes of Bosom Pyung and Kelvyn Boy. She released 'emergency' which featured Bosom Pyung and was widely accepted by the Ghanaian public. She followed it up with 'Odo' which also featured Kelvyn Boy and the song is still enjoying radio Play and still topping the charts.


Wendy Shay posted on her IG and Facebook wall that she is set to release another banger with the King Of African Dancehall Shatta Wale. Wendy Shay has promised her fans that this song is to honour her Godmother Beyonce who celebrates her birthday on the 4th of September and her Godfather Shatta Wale for always believing in her craft.

Shatta Wale Releases New Dance-hall Flame Titled Rookie


King of African Dance-hall Charles Nii Armah Jnr. popularly known as Shatta Wale has released another dancehall heat titled 'Rookie'. The song was produced by Beat Boy Tims.

Ras Kuuku Crowned As Reggae Dancehall Artiste of The Year At The 2020 VGMA



The Ghetto Youths president and the founder and CEO of PUOM Movement Kojo Kuranchie a.k.a Ras Kuuku was last night crowned the overall Reggae and Dancehall artiste at this years Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). The VGMA came off last night at the Accra International Conference Center and this years event lasted for two days, thus, 28th and 29th  respectively. The event saw performances from the likes of EL, Strongman, Eno Barony, Sister Afia, Ras Kuuku, Medikal, the super powerful Hi - Life band Nakorex and many more other great stars.

This years event was hosted by one of Ghana's finest gentlemen, Simply KOD and the gorgeous Berla Mundi who thrilled audience with laughter and gave them a wonderful show. The red carpet was coordinated by the famous actor James Gardiner and the beautiful Regina Van Helvet.

The Reggae Dancehall category has always been fiercely contested by two of Ghana's great talents, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. But this year they both missed out due to a ban placed on them by the organizers of the event due to a misunderstanding which occurred on stage at last years event. PUOM president Ras Kuuku has always been nominated in that category but always loses out to Stonebwoy, who has won the Reggae Dancehall artiste for four(4) times in a roll. 

This years category was also contested fiercely with the likes of Epixode, Samini, AK Songstress, Jupiter and J. Derobie all making it to the list. Many suggested that Epixode could pull a surprise looking at the energy and works he's released but the 'Me Mpaebo' hit maker Ras Kuuku won the night to the admiration of everybody. 

Ras Kuuku released one of the biggest Reggae albums of all time last year titled 'Kuntunkunuku the Heaviest'. The album saw features from many great talents from different genres of music. The album featured the likes of MzVee, Samini, Stonebwoy, Rudebwoy Ranking, The Carey James, Black Prophet, Bramma and the PUOM music protege Yes Jah. The album also had one of the most inspirational and touching songs titled 'Me Mpaebo' which was a prayer song made to Jah so it's not surprising that Jah has answered his prayers. The album also has songs like Your Eyeball which featured Samini. The album was in do doubt a Reggae masterpiece.




This years event also saw winners like Fameye who won the new artiste of the year. Cina Soul, Okyeame Kwame, Kidi, Dopenation, Kofi Mole, Medikal all took home awards for their works and contributions to the Ghana Music Industry.

In all the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was organized properly with quality sound and proper lightening systems. The security checks were very active and proper checks were put in place to help curb any problems. We congratulate all the winners at this years event and wish them the best.
